WHERE DISTANCE KEPT IS
LOVE’S MEASURE

SYNOPSIS

The book is about endurance, love and hope during the pandemic. Set in London parks and public spaces, the project captures people adapting to our new collective normal. Covid 19 disrupted our routines, we were told to stay at home, but we still needed to get out for fresh air, exercise, see other people. The book focuses on people living their lives as best they could under new restrictions and overcoming challenges.

‘Where Distance Kept is Love’s Measure’ is a book of 45 photographs taken during the pandemic in London - showing how people were occupying space differently and relating to each other in new ways during this period.

Hardback, 88 pages, printed on uncoated Munken White paper stock with a Wibalin spine.

On sale at The Photographers’ Gallery, various independent London book stores, and from the shop on this website.
